Accounting firms have their own definition, which goes something like this..
noun: a device used by corporations (which usually includes high base pay, overtime pay, a signing bonus, happy hours & other social events) intended to lure young, naive college students into a future full-time job with no overtime pay, long hours, and no time for social events.
usage: My internship last semester with Deloitte was awesome! I can’t wait to start working there!
